Zero Risk Bets uses scripts and software to crawl many of the top online betting websites, comapiring the diference between the odds of the bookmakers. Their software then works out if an arbitrage (or arb for short) has formed. If so, as a subscriber to the Zero Risk Bets betting system, they will inform you of the arb so you can take advantage of the situation.
It’s the difference of oppinon on what the odds should be between the different bookmakers that allow and arbitrage situation to form.
Example of an arbitrage situation
An arb with no risk is only possible if you bet on all possible outcomes.
For this quick example, let’s say you have $100 sitting in your account. An arb alert has been sent by the Zero Risk Bets system. The alert may contan information like this:
Fromula 1 Monaco (Top 3 Finish)
J Button - to finish in the top 3 (podium finish) – odds: 1.80 (decimal) – Bookmaker: William Hill
J Button – Not top 3 – odds: 2.70 (decimal) – Bookmaker: Bwin
If you split your $100 so you put $60 for Jenson Button to finish in the top 3 with William Hill, at odds of 1.8 you will get back ($60×1.8) $108 with this bookmaker, and put the other $40 on Jenson Button not to finish on the podium with Bwin at odds of 2.7 you would get back ($40×2.7) $108. No matter the outcome, you’ve gained 8% on your money with this example.
I will soon be posting screen shots of actual arb alerts and results from the bookmakes. Keep an eye out for that. It’s very interesting how it works.
